Promoted by the Associationsof
the Constitution and Development of the University Studies in Udine (C.C.C.
n. 2055, 11/2/86), with the aim of supporting the biomedical research in
the territory and connecting the reality of research in the general
hospital and university environment, IRCAB is now a Foundation, recognized
by D.P.G. n. 0159 of 26/3/93.

Mission
As constitution, its aims
and duties can be summarized as: “…to promote and realize initiatives
meant to develop and support, in the most suitable ways, finalized medical
and biological research, with its national and international connections,
including technical-legal and organizational aspects…”, “To promote
training…managing support and assistance for research…organizing
seminars and conventions…establish scholarships…”
